If you ask your local pharmacist if a generic medication is as good as its brand name counterpart, you will probably be assured it is. Yet, many people claim some generic drugs aren’t as effective as brand names. According to the FDA, “A generic drug is a copy that is the same as a brand name drug in dosage, safety, strength, how it is taken, quality, performance and intended use.” What do you think?
